Guam Ko’ko’ Road Race, Sunday, October 19, 2014

Powerade and Fruita+ participated in the 9th Annual Guam Ko’ko’ Road Race, which turned out to be the largest in the event’s history with over 2,000 participants. This was the first year for our brands to sponsor the Guam Ko’ko’ Road Race and we made an excellent showing. Our Powerade Hydration Team was at the finish line serving ice cold Powerade and water to runner finishing the half marathon while other members mingled amongst the crowd distributing drinks from our exclusive Powerade hawkers. The Fruita+ Team was down at Ypao Beach handing our Quench Pure water and bottles of Fruita+ Orange and Mixed Fruit Juice Drinks to everyone enjoying a hot breakfast after the races. Our team also helped run the Fruita+ Finisher’s Photo booth, where runners got their pictures taken for free. We put a lot of work in to supporting the Guam Ko’ko’ Road Race, from hosting Hydration Stations in Tumon three evenings a week to keep athletes hydrated while they trained for the big event, to making sure everyone had a good time the morning of the race, but it was well worth it! We’d like to extend a  huge thank you to everyone who helped out, especially the Coke & Foremost Sales team, the Distribution Team, Administration, and Glimpses Advertising! Powerade and Fruita+ are looking forward to a bigger, even more exciting event next year at the Guam Ko’ko’ Road Race on Sunday, October 18th,2015!

6th Annual Payless Small Change, Big Difference, Saturday, October 18, 2014

Foremost Foods is participating in Payless Supermarkets “Small Change, Big Difference” event this month  to increase awareness about the problem of hunger in our community. Local businesses, including Foremost, were invited to put up displays in Payless Supermarkets showing how they would counter hunger. As Guam’s leading distributor of quality dairy products, it was a no brainer that one of the best ways to counter hunger was with a healthy serving of milk, so Foremost Foods selected Payless in Mangilao as the location to build a giant Foremost UHT Reduced Fat Milk box! When the promotion ends, all of the milk in our display will be donated to one of the Small Change, Big Difference recipients which is makes participating in this event extra special! Congratulations to Foremost for coming up with such a winning idea and to the Glimpses production team for their excellent execution!

Strides for the Cure, Saturday, October 4, 2014

After  many years supporting this worthy event, Foremost and Coca-Cola stepped it up a notch this year by becoming official sponsors of Strides for the Cure, which took place on Saturday, October 4th, 2014. Fruita+ is now the Official Juice Drink and Powerade is the Official Sports Drink of Strides for the Cure and as always, our teams showed their enthusiasm for the event by coming out in full force to serve cold beverages to participants. Strides for the Cure was one of our first opportunities to introduce Guam to Foremost’s new Fruita+ Juice drinks and they were a smash hit! We also served plenty of ice cold Quench Pure water and kept runners in balance with Powerade at the finish line. Both brands are becoming recognized for their support of a healthy lifestyle and are proud to support events like Strides for the Cure!
